Further to my last post …

Continuing with the subject of finding the balance between social media and writing, I wanted to give this next website it’s own separate post. First I want to thank my friend and fellow author Patricia Caviglia for forwarding the link to me in the first place.
At the risk of repeating myself, the online writing/publishing community provides an astonishing number of excellent blogs and websites. Kristen Lamb’s is a standout! She is a an author, a blogger, and a woman who offers inspiration and encouragement to all writers. She is talented, articulate, candid and very funny – unless she has me and many others completely fooled! As well as frequently laughing out loud, which I love to do, I’ve learned a lot from every one of her posts since I began following her a few months ago. What I like best about her is that she keeps things real. This particular post about the concept of T.E.A.M. as it applies to the effective use of social media is a fine example. If you are still attempting to find the balance, as I am, do read it. I’m betting you will subscribe to her blog as quickly as I did!
For your added enjoyment, guaranteed laughs, and in further praise of Kristen, check this site out Educlaytion by Clay Morgan.

Patricia Sands lives in Toronto, Canada when she isn't somewhere else, particularly the south of France. With a happily blended family of seven adult children and, at last count, six grandchildren, life is full and time is short. Beginning with her first Kodak Brownie camera at the age of six, she has told stories all of her life through photography. Much to her surprise a few years ago, she began to write and has now published three novels, including two that are part of a six-book series set in the south of France. Love France? Love her work! Check out her website www.patriciasandsauthor.com She is particularly drawn to the rewarding friendships of women and the challenges many embrace once their families are grown. "It's never too late to begin something new," she enthuses. "As the saying goes, just do it!"

  1. Awwwww…. I never get tired of reading how awesome you guys think I am, LOL. In fairness, all of you are so great to take time to read my posts. I love helping you guys and the fact that you are willing and eager to listen still floors me. I remember at one time being embarassed about all of my failures, and it is such a belssing to be able to repackage them to help others learn and possibly avoid some of the same pitfalls. Besides, remembering that I wasn’t always wise and all-knowing keeps me humble :D.

    THANK YOU!!!!

It's always good to hear to from you!
