I can’t wait to read this Patricia! Since I live about 45 minutes away from the city where all my girlfriends live, it’s difficult to get together. Recently, life has been throwing some lemons my way and even though I have a wonderful family and extended family, I knew I needed some girlfriend time. Yesterday I had lunch with a terrific brave girlfriend who recently underwent a double mastectomy. There is nothing like face-time with a friend who inspires, plus, she needed my laughter and sense of fun. All-in-all it was a wonderful day. Girlfriends rock. Thanks to your friend for this wonderful gift. It’s exactly what I need! Can’t wait to read page 17!

Oh Kate, I’m sorry about those lemons and hope things are calming down now. You can never go wrong with girlfriend time! It’s wonderful when we inspire each other … everyone has a story … I’m sure your friend was delighted to spend time with you too.
