A slightly different slant today …

If it’s Friday, it must be France …

Lucky me! Author and well-known choc-o-holic, work-o-holic, mom-o-holic, Stephanie Keyes invited me to be part of her fabulous Spring Author Series and I’m over there talking about … yes, what else … France! Well, she asked me about vacations and travel so what was I to do?

Please pop over and visit with us there and while you are at it you might want to read the posts of the terrific group of writers that have participated. They are an interesting and most entertaining party bunch  collection!

Stephanie is going to fly to England to be a featured speaker at the amazing literary day, A SUMMER AUDIENCE, planned and being hosted by the LoveAHappyEnding.com crew in Tetbury on June 16th. If you are in the UK, try your best to attend. I’ll be there in spirit!

I know this may be starting to sound repetitive and boring but I am making headway to the final page of my WIP. I can see the outline of the words “T H E  E N D” in the glow of the light at the end of the tunnel … yoohooo … I’m coming …

I don’t remember the ending of The Bridge Club taking me this long but with good ol’ selective memory I’ve no doubt banished those thoughts, if that was the case.

For your viewing pleasure …

Hmmm – wonder if our budget could handle this!

Bon Weekend tout le monde!

Patricia Sands lives in Toronto, Canada when she isn't somewhere else, particularly the south of France. With a happily blended family of seven adult children and, at last count, six grandchildren, life is full and time is short. Beginning with her first Kodak Brownie camera at the age of six, she has told stories all of her life through photography. Much to her surprise a few years ago, she began to write and has now published three novels, including two that are part of a six-book series set in the south of France. Love France? Love her work! Check out her website www.patriciasandsauthor.com She is particularly drawn to the rewarding friendships of women and the challenges many embrace once their families are grown. "It's never too late to begin something new," she enthuses. "As the saying goes, just do it!"

  1. Patricia, if I was going to France, you’d be the first person I’d talk to. Hmmmm… maybe someday we could get a group of writers to go…wouldn’t that be fun? Thanks for transporting me to this wonderful country.
I enjoyed A Summer Audience— wish I could be there too. Methinks I need a vacation.

I’m also happy that you’re seeing the end of your WIP. Whooo hooo!

  2. Ohh, those pictures. It was like a five minute vacay right here in my own home. I so want to go see those places for myself someday. And I will! Thank you for the lovely moment. Now I’m off to check you out on Stephanie’s post.

  3. I love the pictures, Patricia! Your blog is always so refreshing and positive. Thank you for yet another glimpse of France! One of my favorite places in the south of France is Menton because it’s basically Italy in France and it has the best of both worlds.

    Happy writing!

It's always good to hear to from you!
